Bibliographic Databases

There is a wide range of useful databases when searching for scholarly information including journal articles. They include:

ATLA Religion Database:
- The premier index to journal articles, book reviews and collections of essays in all scholarly fields of religion. It contains over 1.7 million bibliographic records covering the research literature of religion. Instructions on accessing and using the ATLA Database are available. Please speak to a member of Library staff if you would like more help, or to arrange a training session.
Arts & Humanities Citation Index:
- Index covers arts and humanities journals (including religious journals) from 1975-present.
British Humanities Database:
- Index with abstracts for research in the humanities from 1962 - present.
