  • Electronic books held at the University of Cambridge can be accessed via the Newton catalogues and LibrarySearch (a Raven password is needed to access them outside the University) by searching for the title in the usual way. More information on free ebook collections is available here.
  • Cambridge Companions to Philosophy, Religion and Culture:
    • online versions of the Cambridge Companion series of books, including the Cambridge Companion to Aquinas, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, and Jesus. They can be searched and accessed via the Newton Catalogue.
  • Internet Sacred Text Archive:
    • an impressive collection of religious material from many different traditions.
  • Project Gutenberg:
    • a fully searchable collection of over 20,000 multilanguage ebooks. Many classic titles and other formats such as audio books. It has a fully searchable online catalogue.
  • Religion Online:
    • vast selection of full texts.

    • Christian Classics Ethereal Library: a valuable resource containing numerous classical Christian texts, including the entire Church Fathers series, plus works by Boethius, Augustine, Calvin and others.
    • New Advent: an extensive site offering selections from the works of the church fathers, the complete Summa Theologica of Thomas Aquinas, the Catholic Encyclopedia and the Douay-Rheims translation of the Bible.
  • Islam
  • Sikhism
    • Sri Granth: a resource for studying the Guru Granth Sahib.
  • Zoroastrianism
    • Avesta - Zoroastrian Archives: the complete Avesta in both English and the original Avestan language, plus an assortment of the religion's middle-Persian/Pahlavi scriptures.
