School Visits

We are very keen to visit schools and sixth forms to give sample lectures and/or talk about studying Theology, Religion, and Philosophy of Religion at Cambridge. We ask that to maximise the impact of such talks, schools invite students in allied subjects to the talk, or reach out to local schools to increase attendance from students studying Religious Studies or Philosophy and Ethics.

In addition, we would be delighted if you brought a group of students to the Faculty. We can tailor the programme to meet your needs, delivering lectures relevant to your GCSE or A-level programmes. We also offer talks on studying Theology, Religion, and Philosophy of Religion at university in general and/or applying to Cambridge.

There is no charge for either type of visit. For more details or to arrange a visit, please get in touch by emailing Laura Jeffrey, Outreach Officer  or phone 01223 736002.

The University also provides a set of pages with information for Teachers and Parents:

Please use these to promote the subject area at school or the course at Cambridge. If you would like to repurpose them, please credit the originals. We will be adding to this area in due course so please send ideas to Laura  for anything that would be useful to you in teaching or promoting the subject.
