Katy McCulloch

We are delighted to announce that Kathleen McCulloch has been appointed Junior Research Fellow in Late Antiquity at Homerton College, Cambridge. Kathleen is in the final stages of completing a PhD in the Faculty of Divinity, researching the ideal of consensus in the debates and proceedings of fifth-century church councils. For her proposed post-doctoral research, Kathleen intends to explore the role of translation in the expression of Syrian Orthodox identity. She seeks to examine the ways in which Syrian Orthodox Christians negotiated their own religious and linguistic traditions in the context of the early sixth-century Christological debates.
