Hannah is an ordinand in the Church of England, training at Westcott House. Before training, she worked as a theologian for a Christian relief and development charity.
In 2010 she graduated with a PhD in Ancient History from the University of St Andrews, working under the supervision of Professor Jill Harries on the discursive construction of the Roman res publica. She is currently working on an MPhil developing a theology of historiography, with an eye to the ways that the Church of England might better narrate and grapple with its history with empire.
