Year 12 Religious Studies Study Day

Get the most out of your Religious Studies A level. This Study Day includes academic-level lectures on topics relevant to the A level RS syllabus as well as workshops on challenging curriculum areas.

Ideal for Year 12 students hoping to achieve an A or A* in their exam, as well as those considering studying religious studies, theology or philosophy of religion at university.

This day is hosted jointly by the Faculty of Divinity and Faculty of Education at the University of Cambridge, and will take place in central Cambridge at the Faculty of Divinity, West Road, Cambridge, CB3 9BS.

Enriching Religious Studies: A Year 12 Study Day 

This study day will give academically-able Year 12 students the opportunity to enrich and extend themselves in Religious Studies. It is open to those currently studying Religious Studies at A level, and especially those who are thinking of studying theology, religious or philosophy of religion at university. The lectures and workshops will complement the A level Religious Studies curriculum.

To apply, please fill out the form below by 17th May 2020. Successful applicants will be notified by 22nd May 2020. We will give priority to applicants currently attending UK state schools and FE colleges, and those from under-represented geographical regions of the UK.

Schools are welcome to bring groups of up to 6 students. Please contact for more information.

There is no charge for attending the day. However, students will be responsible for travelling to and from the Faculty of Divinity at the beginning and end of the event. They will be accompanied by staff between locations during the day.

We have limited discretionary funds to assist with the costs of attendance for

  • Anyone eligible for the 16-19 Bursary
  • Anyone eligible for Discretionary Learner Support
  • Children in Care
