This year's Hulsean lectures will be given by Professor Richard B. Hays, George Washington Ivey Professor of New Testament and Dean of the Divinity School, Duke University, on the subject of "Reading Backwards: Israel's Scripture through the Eyes of the Evangelists".

The first lecture, ""The Manger in Which Christ Lies": Figural Readings of Israel's Scripture", will take place at 5pm on November 12 in the Umney Theatre, Robinson College. All welcome.

Dr Jesse Zink Awarded Audrey Richards Prize

The Rev Dr Jesse Zink has been awarded the Audrey Richards Prize by the African Studies Association of the UK for his dissertation, “Christianity and Catastrophe: Sudan’s Civil Wars and Religious Change among the Dinka.” The prize recognizes the best doctoral dissertation in African studies examined in the UK in 2014 or 2015.
