BBC World Service - Dr Jörg Haustein on The Ethiopian Church

Dr Jörg Haustein is one of four experts interviewed for the BBC World Service programme, The Inquiry. The episode, titled "Are Ethiopians losing faith in their Orthodox Church", looks at the profound religious and socio-demographic changes in Ethiopia and their connection with the country's political turmoil of recent years. Dr Haustein is an expert on religion in Ethiopia and has written extensively on the rise of Pentecostalism there, the religion of the current Prime Minister, Abiy Ahmed.
