Year 12 and 13 students are invited to the Faculty of Divinity for a Religious Studies study day.
The next event will be on 22nd March 2024 with guest speaker, Libby Ahluwalia, teacher, syllabus developer, examiner trainer and author of several acclaimed GCSE and A level textbooks. The event is intended primarily for Sixth Form students studying Religious Studies, as well as those who have a strong interest in theology, religion, and philosophy of religion who may be considering studying these subjects at university. This event would be particularly beneficial for students aiming for high (A/A*) grades.

How do I buy a ticket?
Individual bookings
TIckets cost £15 each. The deadline to purchase tickets is the 15th March 2024. Before booking, please read how we use your data here.

We have limited discretionary funds to support the attendance of pupils in need. If you would like to apply for a funded place you can find more details here. Funded place applications must be received by the 11th March 2024.
Group bookings
If schools are booking on behalf of students, bookings in multiples of five can be purchased using the online eSales form. Please purchase tickets for any staff members that will be staying with the students in the lecture theatre, to help us manage numbers. If you have drivers/accompanying staff that will not be joining the lectures, they do not need a ticket. There are several nearby cafes that we'd be happy to direct them to.

By purchasing a ticket, any person booking on behalf of others confirms that all attendees have all been supplied with a copy of, or a link to, the above statement on how their data will be used and that they have collected the personal information that they are providing to us about any students appropriately, and that they have each student’s explicit consent to pass their data on to us.

How to get to the Faculty of Divinity
If you are coming by train, Cambridge main station is the nearest station to the Faculty, and we recommend taking the Universal U bus line to the West Road stop (also called the University Library stop). The timetable for the Universal U bus is here. If you are arriving by coach, the Faculty is a 25-30 minute walk from the bus station on Drummer Street.
If you are coming by car, there is very limited on street Pay & Display parking on West Road (up to 4 hours) and Sidgwick Avenue (up to 8 hours). However, parking is extremely limited, so if you intend to park for the full day, rather than just dropping or collecting, we recommend using the Park and Ride service at Madingley Road and taking the Universal U bus service from Eddington Avenue (a short walk from the Park and Ride) to the West Road stop, which is across the road from the Faculty.
Cancellation
If you no longer wish to attend the session, you can cancel your booking up to 10 calendar days before the event date and be entitled to a full refund of the ticket price. Please note that the 10 calendar days’ notice is not inclusive of the event date. Refunds will take approximately two weeks to process. To cancel your place please email outreach@divinity.cam.ac.uk with the following details:
- Order number (not applicable to funded places)
- The name on the booking
- The email address on the booking
While we make every effort to avoid any changes to our schedule of events, in the unlikely event that we have to cancel the event, all booking costs will be returned in full.
