Books (monographs)

The Divinity Library holds about 62,000 physical volumes, of which 56,000 are books.

The Divinity Library used to cater also for the needs of its PhD students and its academics. In recent months we needed to stop doing this, and most requests now need to go through the University Library. Since 2015 we primarily acquire books in English; there are, however, noticeable older holdings in French, German, Greek, Latin, plus a collection of bibles in many, less commonly-read (in academic circles) languages.
