You might have used a high number of temporary (COVID19) ebooks since March or April 2020, without taking much notice. Sadly, a lot of them are coming to their end for University of Cambridge users - for a list of e-provisions still available under COVID19 provisions, please see: Access to additional e-resources during COVID-19 outbreak (LibGuide about eresouces which publishers which have given free access during the current pandemic).
However, two major ebooks platforms, totalling over 375,000 ebooks (with some overlap/duplication) will continue to be available, for years to come:
- ProQuest's Ebook Central, 178,063 ebooks [needs Raven]
-
EBSCO's eBook Academic Collection, 197,816 ebooks [needs Raven]
These ebooks should continue to be searchable and available through iDiscover.
Please enjoy e-access for the rest of your degree, or at least for the next couple of years.
