Dr Aitken has been awarded £13,000 by the Rothschild (Hanadiv) Foundation for a conference entitled "The origins of the origins of evil". He is organising this in collaboration with Dr Hector Patmore (Cardiff) and Dr Ishay Ronen (Tel Aviv), and it will include an international team of speakers looking at the theme in Jewish, Christian, and Gnostic sources.
