The latest celebratory news is that Dr Christopher Jones's new monograph, The Buddhist Self: On Tathāgatagarbha and Ātman (University of Hawaii Press), released in December 2020, has won the Toshihide Numata Book Award (called sometimes simply 'the Toshi Award'). This is probably the most prestigious prize in the field of Buddhist studies:
