William Simpson, Research Associate in the Faculty, , has won an "Expanded Reason Award" for his doctoral thesis;
Simeone Kotva, JRF, has seen her new book published;
Katharine Dell's collected essays, along with additional unpublished essays, has just appeared last week at Oxford University Press

 

William Simpson

William Simpson, Research Associate in the Faculty, has won an "Expanded Reason Award" for his doctoral thesis, "What's the matter? Toward a neo-Aristotelian ontology of nature". This
international research prize of 25,000 Euros is awarded by the University Francisco de Vitoria in collaboration with the Joseph Ratzinger Vatican Foundation. The award ceremony was to have taken place
this September in the Vatican, but will take place at a later date.

Simeone Kotva, JRF, has seen her new book published: Effort and Grace: On the Spiritual Exercise of Philosophy (Bloomsbury). Those who follow Twitter will know there has been an online event discussing the book, and there is an interview on Divinity Dispatches.

Katharine Dell

Katharine's collected essays, along with additional unpublished essays, has just appeared last week at Oxford University Press: The Solomonic Corpus of 'Wisdom' and Its Influence.
