James Aitken has been appointed Grinfield Lecturer on the Septuagint for the years 2020-2021-2022 at the University of Oxford. The lecturer is required to offer three lectures per year. Dr Aitken’s chosen theme is “The Septuagint and the History of the Book.” For year 1 (2020-2021) the lectures will focus on “The Material World of the Septuagint” (Zoom links will be available at https://www.ochjs.ac.uk/):
