The Faculty is delighted to announce that Dr Joanna Leidenhag (University of Leeds) will be succeeding Andrew Davison in the Starbridge professorship in Theology and Natural Science. A pioneer in science-engaged theology, on which she co-authored a Cambridge Elements monograph in 2023, Dr Leidenhag has published on panpsychism and creation, and is preparing a ground-breaking study on autism and the nature of faith. Currently P.I. on the major multi-university collaborative research project, ‘God, Language and Diversity’, funded by the John Templeton Foundation and based at the University of Leeds, she will see this project through at Leeds before taking up her new position at Cambridge in October 2026.
