Professor Catherine Pickstock has accepted election to the Norris-Hulse Professorship of Divinity

The faculty is delighted to announce that Professor Catherine Pickstock will be the new Norris-Hulse Professor of Divinity with effect from October 1st 2018.

Professor Pickstock's research is concerned with the relationship between theology and philosophy, and of both to language, poetics and the history of ideas.

She first came to Cambridge as Junior Research Fellow at Emmanual College and later as a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Faculty of Divinity, Cambridge, before taking up a Lectureship in Philosophy of Religion in 2000. She became a University Reader in Philosophy and Theology in 2006. She teaches widely across the field of the Philosophy of Religion at the Faculty.
