A special perfomance in the Faculty Garden!
In the final D Society of the term, (part of a year-long seminar series dedicated to a multi-disciplinary examination of the Akedah), Christian Coppa gave a paper on the ellipsis of the Genesis narrative and the effect of dramatic performance.
The Brome Mystery play was then performed in the Faculty garden, and the tragicomic aspects of the story came to the fore.
The seminar series is to be published as a book, co-edited by our graduate students.
