Two members of the Faculty, Tony Street and Joel Cabrita, have received awards in the first round of the Cambridge Humanities Research Grants Scheme 2017/18.
Dr Street's proposal on 'Arabic Logic, 1180-1330' will allow him to complete the transcription and translation of key texts of medieval Arabic logic. Dr Cabrita's proposal, 'Evangelical Christianity and Higher Education in sub-Saharan Africa', will allow her to pursue fieldwork and archival research in select African HE institutions as part of a pilot intended to lay the groundwork for a major future research project.
