TRANSFORMING THEOLOGY

An afternoon conference on Friday 16th November 2018

2-6PM

The Runcie Room, Faculty of Divinity, West Road, Cambridge

Transforming Theology is an interdisciplinary conference to celebrate and further the visibility of transgender identities and of people who do not conform to gender norms in theology. Whether you are a student, academic, lecturer, practitioner, theologian, faith leader or none of the above you are very welcome to attend.

The afternoon will include: a session on the present and future of trans theology; a keynote lecture by playwright Jo Clifford on her ground-breaking play The Gospel According to Jesus, Queen of Heaven and its reception and impact in Brazil; papers by researchers and practitioners; an opportunity to ask our specialist panel any burning questions.

The conference is FREE OF CHARGE. If you'd like to attend, please register at https://tinyurl.com/transtheo

Jo Clifford's Keynote Lecture will take place at 5:15PM, and all are welcome.

NB. If you forget to register, don’t worry, you are still very welcome to attend. Registering will help us to estimate numbers and run an accessible and welcoming event.
