Year 10 students visit Faculty

The Faculty was visited by five schools in mid-July.

The Faculty was delighted to welcome students from five different schools in the East Midlands between 11 and 15 July. Our visitors came from Carre's Grammar, Kesteven and Sleaford High School, Arnold Hill Academy, Derby Moor Community Sports College, and LittleOver Community School.

The Year 10 students were invited to take part in a day of sample lectures, discussions and to try their hand at New Testament Greek, finishing off with a visit to Selwyn College. The event introduced the students to the study of Theology, Religion, and Philosophy of Religion before they have finalised their choices for A-level with the aim was of increasing the number who may consider studying the subject at university.

We really enjoyed meeting everyone and wish them all the best for the future.

The event was supported by the National Networks for Collaborative Outreach Supplementary Outreach Fund.
