Dr Silvianne Aspray is the author of Metaphysics in the Reformation: The Case of Peter Martyr Vermigli (OUP 2021) and currently a Visiting Scholar at the Divinity Faculty, as well as an Adjunct Research Fellow at the Notre Dame Centre for the History of Philosophy in Sydney.

She was awarded her doctorate in Philosophical Theology at the Divinity Faculty in Cambridge in 2018 and subsequently took up a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship.

Her research is on the role theology played in the genesis of modernity, Christian metaphysics, and the relationship between Divine and human creativity.
