Biography
Emily Qureshi-Hurst is a philosopher and theologian whose interests lie in the intersection between Christian theology, philosophy, and modern science. Before taking up her position of Teaching Associate in Theology and Natural Science at the Faculty of Divinity in Cambridge, she was a Junior Research Fellow at Pembroke College, Oxford (2021-2024) and a Lecturer in Philosophy at Oriel College, Oxford (2022-2024). She completed her D.Phil (PhD) in Science and Religion in 2021 at the University of Oxford, where she was supervised by Professor Alister McGrath.
Emily's research interests span many areas of Theology and Natural Science, but her main focus has been on physics and Christianity.

Her current research project examines the Many-Worlds interpretation of Quantum Mechanics and it's significance for theism.
