Pastoral Care in 12th and 13th century medieval England 
This is a joint module with the MPhil in Medieval History. New module for 2021/2022.
This option studies a centrally important movement of the high middle ages, the reform movement often called Gregorian Reform, in its late twelfth and thirteenth century forms. The module will look at the theory and legislation of the movement, including what it has meant to scholars of the twentieth and twenty first centuries, the theological and philosophical context of Church reform and the legislation produced at international, national and regional level.
