Karim Mitri

I am an MPhil student in Philosophy of Religion and Theology and I am writing my thesis under the supervision of Dr. Hadi Fakhoury on Slavoj Žižek's theory of Materialist Christianity (or Christian Atheism). I am also interested in the works of St. Maximus the Confessor in the Eastern Orthodox ecclesiastical context under Prof. Simeon Zahl and Dr. Andrew Jackson and the works of Hungarian-Swiss late twentieth century author Ágota Kristóf.

Michael Edwards

Mike is studying in the Anglican Studies stream of the MPhil, though much of his focus is also within Pentecostalism in the World Christianities stream. His dissertation is examining the legacy of Alexander Boddy; an Anglican Priest who was a key figure in the early Pentecostal movement in England but who never left the Church of England & seemingly integrated his Pentecostal experience with his Anglican faith.
