Marilu Bosoms is a PhD candidate in Christian Theology working under Dr. Andrew Davison. She is researching nature and place in the theology of John Scotus Eriugena. More broadly, she is interested in how landscapes and ecosystems shape our theology and in using pre-modern theological resources to inform how we conceptualize and respond to our current environmental situation.

 

She holds a B.A. in Sustainable Development from Davidson College and a M.A. in Philosophy and Religion from the California Institute of Integral Studies.

 

Outside academia, she has worked with NGOs on nature conservation and integral development in conjunction with Mayan communities. She has lived and studied in Mexico,  USA , India, and the UK.
