Research

I am currently working on a critical interpretation of Wolfhart Pannenberg’s theology of love.

My main focus centers on four key areas—ecclesiology, anthropology, soteriology, and epistemology—primarily as they appear in his three-volume Systematic Theology.

Although Pannenberg has not traditionally been recognized for his theology of love, I argue that it permeates his systematic loci and serves as a central, unifying theme that binds together these otherwise disparate areas with his doctrine of God.

It is my hope that all theological inquiry might hold caritas in the same regard that Pannenberg did—especially in contexts where it is often relegated to a secondary role within ethical concerns.
