The Epistle to the Galatians has, relative to its size, had an extraordinary influence on the history of Christianity. This course will involve students in a close reading of the Greek text as a means of introducing them both to some of the basic methods involved in its study as well as the way it impacts upon the shifting world of Pauline study and Christian origins.
