Matthew D. Visk

Matthew Visk is a third year PhD student at the University of Cambridge working on the doctrine of satisfaction in John Calvin’s theology under the supervision of Regius Professor of Divinity, David Fergusson. Matthew has previously completed degrees at the London School of Theology, Gateway Seminary, and the University of California, Los Angeles. His research focuses on ideas of retribution, wrath, penal substitution, satisfaction, and the nature of necessity in reformed theology.
